Founded in 2020 amidst the uncertainties of a global lockdown, Women Thrive Media emerged as a beacon of hope and empowerment. In a time when guidance and community were essential, our commitment to supporting women in business and life remained unwavering.
The challenges were immediate, as our first international event in Atlanta, GA, USA faced cancellation due to safety concerns. In just a few short weeks, we successfully pivoted from a live event to a virtual one, demonstrating our adaptability and dedication to our mission.
The adversity we faced during those challenging times became a turning point. Regardless of geographical boundaries, we recognized the universal need for a community and a safe space where women could share their stories, expertise, and knowledge. It was at this moment when women around the world began to rise to their power.
In the face of adversity, we did not dwell on self-pity. instead, we embarked on a remarkable journey – building businesses, starting new ventures, supporting families, strengthening communities, publishing books, and inspiring each other to reach out full potential. The narrative changed from vulnerability to empowerment.
While external forces claimed that women were particularly affected, we refused to be victims of circumstance. Women at Women Thrive Media spent their time not worrying about the challenges but rather building a legacy of resilience, resourcefulness, and determination.
